Founder · Owner · Director of Operations

Eric founds Hale Excavation LLC — bringing 35 years of experience home to Central New York. From here we serve Oneida County, the Mohawk Valley, Herkimer, Madison, and surrounding counties. The scale is more personal now. The standards, work ethic, and project management discipline are exactly the same.

Meet Eric Hale

After 35 years of running construction projects from residential site work to multi-million-dollar earthwork for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Eric Hale knows exactly what makes a job go right: honest planning, tight budget control, clear communication, and attention to the details most contractors skip. He’s held every role in the field, from laborer to director of operations, so nothing on your site surprises him and nothing gets overlooked.

In November 2025, Eric founded Hale Excavation  to bring that experience back home to Central New York. The homeowner with water pooling in the yard. The builder who needs a pad prepped on schedule. The property owner who needs emergency water pumping in the middle of the night. Every project gets the same standard Eric held on the biggest jobs of his career: a real site visit, an honest estimate, clear communication from start to finish, and quality work completed on schedule and within budget.
